What does my typical week look like?
Monday morning at 6.25am is when my alarm rings. After a stretch, a cuddle with the husband, an intense workout and the first round of freshly cut ginger tea, it’s off to get myself camera ready and sharp. Jobs, auditions and meetings. The beginning of the week feels like a blank canvas and I’m ready to delve into the world of screen!
Tuesday rolls around. Between checking in with my mum in Birmingham and working with production companies and clients such as the BBC, HSBC and Venus, I really do feel like a Tuesday treat. So, I grab myself a big bar of 78% dark cocoa chocolate (85% if I’m feeling perky!). This one’s for you mum, thank you!
Wednesday is usually when I’m auditioning most. TV, commercials and corporates. I’m also catching up with clients and the agency. It’s nice to check in, make sure everyone is happy and prep well for the upcoming shoots. My creative outlook is to be collaborative. Always.
There is nothing more exciting than throwing your ideas into the mix with others and watching a project grow. Hold up, half the week is over and still haven’t got around to submitting those invoices! Thank god there is Thursday, where I can insert an admin break and use the time to build on my creative business around filming. Everything including my online presence, marketing, branding…Even my fitness goals. They don’t call it thankful Thursday for nothing! It’s also the day where I usually need to pick up more fresh ginger…
